Galaxy Partners Briefs Georgia Governor On Economic Trade Opportunities In China

The briefing included an invitation from Ningxia Provincial Governor Ma for a Georgia state trade mission to Ningxia to be hosted by Governor Ma. Governor Perdue was also presented with a gift from Governor Ma.

“Business today is conducted on a global level, and it is important for Georgia to retain its competitive edge in the world market,” said Governor Perdue. “We have successfully built many relationships that recognize the state’s outstanding business assets, and we continue to seek out international opportunities to bring jobs and investment to Georgia.”

Following the briefing, Governor Perdue asked Galaxy Partners to help arrange a trade mission to China for Commissioner Lesser and Deputy Commissioner Chris Clark. As part of this mission, Georgia officials will explore the possibility of opening an office in either Shanghai or Beijing for the purpose of fostering increased trade relations between Georgia and China.
